The Realm Series began in 2023 as a series of four small paintings which pictured light fading to darkness in an imaginary wood. As the series has progressed the almost monochromatic palette has gradually shifted and the rhythm of the series, still in groups of four, has become punctuated by sudden transitions in colour and tone.
